Sun 14 Oct Cambridge Memory Walk. The Alzheimer’s Society is organising a ‘memory walk’ on Sunday 14th October in Cambridge, starting from Jesus Green. Distances are 2k and 6/7k, with walkers starting at 10.00am. The organisers are keen to involve walkers and also volunteers to help with the organisation; volunteers are required from 8.30am onwards. If you want to take part, please note that the closing date for registrations is Thursday 11th October. See
Cambridge Memory Walk
Fri 30 Nov Cambridge Ramblers AGM. This will be held on Friday 30th November at 18.00 at Friends Meeting House, 91 Hartington Grove, Cambridge CB1 7UB (Cherry Hinton Road end).

The formal business meeting will be followed by a talk ‘Horseheath Hall – a vanished country house’ to be given by Janet Morris, Secretary and founder member of West Wickham & District Local History Club and Council member of Cambridge Antiquarian Society.

This will be followed by an opportunity to socialise over a light buffet and a glass of wine. This should be pre-booked – use slip enclosed in printed Walks Programme or contact the Secretary.
